Three things arrived on Disbigle in the last days, two of them asked for by Diego: private messages that work like a chat, previews of the links you share, and a page with everything you did.
Messages, as a chat
- Each conversation opens as a chat: bubbles, newest at the bottom, a box to write and Enter to send.
- New messages appear on their own, with "is typing…" while the other person writes and "Seen" once they have read.
- Messages in the menu shows how many conversations have something new.
- Your status is up to you: hidden (the default), shown as online or away, or busy. Only the people you write with see it, and no history is kept.
No separate chat to install and nothing new to learn: the Messages you already had, made livelier. The chat is also in the Android and iPhone apps.
Link previews
Share a link and the post shows the page's title, description and image. The image is stored on our server: reading your timeline tells the linked site nothing, until you open the link.
My activity
A new page in the menu lists what you liked, commented on, reshared and saved, newest first, by the time you did it. Only you can see it.
